# Frequently Bought

In the Flute theme product template, includes 'Frequently Bought' section that Items often purchased together by customers.

## How To Add  Frequently Bought Products Using Metafield <a href="#setting-the-complementary-products-metafield" id="setting-the-complementary-products-metafield"></a>

To display products in the **Frequently Bought Together** section, you first need to create a product metafield named **Frequently Bought**.

### Steps to create Frequently Bought Product metafield

From your Shopify admin, go to **Settings**.

From your Shopify admin, go to **Settings** > **Metafields And Metaobjects** > **Products**

Click **Add definition**.

In the **Name** field, enter `Frequently Bought`.In the **Namespace and key** field, enter `custom.frequently_bought`

Click **Select type.**&#x20;

Choose **List of products** to allow multiple products to be selected. Select **Product** as the metafield type.&#x20;

Click **Save** to create the metafield.

You should see the created metafield Frequently Bought in the list of definitions by now.

### Steps to Add Products to the Frequently Bought Metafield

From your Shopify admin, go to **Products**. Select the product where you want to display the **Frequently Bought Together** products.

Scroll down to the **Metafields** section on the product page.

Click the **Frequently Bought** metafield.

Select the products you want to display as frequently bought together with the current product. You can select multiple products from the available product list.

Click **Save** to save your changes.

You can see this products From **Frequently Bought** Section when, **Show complementary products as FBT** setting is set to **'Disabled'.**
