Create custom metafield
display the custom metafield using the metafield to add in product or custom badges, follow the steps below
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Custom data.
Click on "Product" block that you want to create metafield and then click on "Add definition" to create new metafield.
Add the desired name and select type of metafield.
For custom badge copy "Namespace and key" ex:- food_type
For custom text use single line text and then click on "Save"
For countdown timer use date type and then click on "Save"
Now go to the product and select any one product that you want to fill metafield data.
Now you can see food_type data "Veg" to that product. here created your metafield.
Below screenshot for type date. Select date you want to set when offer ends.
If you have to show this text as a custom badge then follow below step also.
Add metafield namespace or key name to the label metafield text block, check below:
Your text dairy will be print as a custom badge.
