From your Shopify admin, go to **Settings** > **Custom data** > **Collections**
2. Click **Add definition**
3. In the **Name** field, enter `Collection image`
4. In the **Namespace and key** field, enter `custom.collection_image`
5. Click **Select type** then select **File.**
6. than select **Accept all file types.** 7. Click **Save** to save the definition.
8. You should see the **Collection image** in the list of definitions by now.
## Setting the Collection image 1. In your admin, within **Collections**, click on the collection you want to add the Collection image.
2. Scroll down to the **Metafields.** You should see the **Collection image** here.
3. To set an image, click on the **Collection image** field. 4. Click **Save** to save your changes.
