# Languages and Currency

## Languages <a href="#language" id="language"></a>

To Add Languages, log in to your admin panel and follow the below steps:

* From your Shopify admin, go to Settings.
* Click Languages.
* In Translated Languages, click Add Language.
* Choose a language from the dropdown menu, then click Add.

To Edit Languages, login to your admin panel and do the following settings.

As per the Shopify language translation supporting feature, we need to key all the text-based information in the “Language Editor” section so that all the information loads in the same language. Kindly refer to the following screenshot to know about editing this information. Then, just go to your store’s theme section and confirm which theme is going to be the primary one (Published theme); then do the followings

## Currency <a href="#currency" id="currency"></a>

To Currency, login to your admin panel and Go to S**ettings > Markets > Add Market**. You can add Countries/regions here.

### **Currency format**

You can choose to have product, cart, and checkout prices always show currency codes.

* From your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store > Themes**.
* Click on **Customize** button.
* Click **Theme settings**.
* Click **Currency format**.
* To enable currency codes, click the **Show currency codes** checkbox.
* Click **Save**.
