# How to create page template?

To create a page template, follow the steps below. It is mandatory to **create a page template in the Publish Theme** to be able to select it on the Page.To create a page template, go to Customization and click on Create Template.

1. go to Customization and click on **Pages**

2. Click on **Create template**

3. Enter the name you want to use for creating the template

4. Go to the admin panel and click on the page for which you created the template.

5. Select the template you created
